Upon arrival at Kuching International Airport, meet and greet by our personnel then transfer to your choice of accommodation for check-in. (Early check-in is subject to availability). Afternoon, your guide would meet you and proceed to half-day Kuching City Tour. Kuching is the capital city of Sarawak. Blend of quaint and modern buildings gives it a unique charm. Strolling through the city’s unhurried thoroughfare and streets is a pleasant experience. At dust when the city is bathed in the golden glow of the setting sun, Kuching is arguably at its most beautiful. After tour complete, back to hotel and free for you to explore the city on your own.

During the tour, places of interest include: Cat Monument, Cat Statue, Tua Pek Kong Temple (oldest Chinese Temple in Kuching), Sarawak Museum (Aquarium, Botanical Gardens, Heroes Memorial), Civic Centre the futuristic tower, The Malay Village with stilted houses, The Kuching Mosque and The Kuching Waterfront one of the hottest leisure spots in the city. Remarks: Sarawak Museum closed on the first day of public holidays.


After breakfast at around 0900hrs, your guide would meet you and visit Sarawak Cultural Village. Nestled on a 17 acre site at the foot of the legendary Mount Santubong located at the edge of the South China Sea lies the talk of tourism in this region, Sarawak’s very own “living museum” – Sarawak Cultural Village.

Journey takes about 45 minute drives from Kuching along the countryside with a scenic view contrasted by the green mountain and the blues sea. Explore the live replicas of the 7 representative houses: Chinese Farm House, Malay Stilted House, Melanau Tall House, Penan Hut and longhouses of the Bidayuh, Iban and Orang Ulu. Taste the village’s delicious cookies. Try your hands on their delicate craftwork and their warm hospitality. You will be entertained with 45 minute of the spectacular cultural dance performance by the various ethnic people of Sarawak at the air-conditioned village theatre.

Afternoon, tour resume to Semenggoh Wildlife Centre. The centre serves as a centre for the care and rehabilitation of confiscated and/or surrendered animals especially the Orang Utan. The Orang Utans are trained or re-trained to survive in their natural habitat. Upon arrival, take a walk on the trails to the feeding site to catch a glimpse of these unique creatures during feeding time, while your escort narrates to you their humane behaviour, emotion and characteristics attributing to the mere reason for them being called Orang Utan meaning ‘Wild Men of the Forest’. After tour complete, back to hotel and free at own leisure for you to explore the city on your own.


After breakfast, free at leisure until your departure transfer to Kuching International Airport for your next destination.
