This island is just off the coast from Kota Kinabalu city and takes about 10-15 minutes by boat to reach.
The island is off the usual tourists’ path and it retains the natural island charm for all visitors to enjoy their much needed R & R. There are some chalets available for overnights stay upon request and pre-booking. Other fun activities that you can consider would be to go for some sea kayaking, snorkeling or scuba diving, while venturing over to the island. Nature trails are available for you to trek around the island and explore the island habitants on your own.
0920hrs : Meet at Counter No. 12 at Jesselton Point Jetty. Boat departure at 0945hrs to Mari Mari Sepanggar Island. Boat ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes.
1000hrs : Arrive at jetty and free at leisure. Enjoy a welcome drink before getting your equipment ready for Guided Snorkeling. Our guides will brief you on the use of the equipment and safety before heading out to sea.
1100hrs : Lie back and relax!
1230hrs to 1400hrs : Hungry? Lunch will be served at the island canteen aread.
1500hrs or 1700hrs : Depart back to Jesselton Point Jetty.
